Full time company member and Managing Director, David had a blast in his debut with Americana last summer as Porthos in The Three Musketeers and It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play. A graduate of Point Park University in Pittsburgh, David has been rather nomadic, living and performing on stage, television, radio and film, in NYC, Indiana, Massachusetts and Pennsylvania, but is happy to settle down in Carver with his wonderful wife, Erin and 2 beautiful girls, Karly and Lexi. Most recently he served as Technical Director for The Company Of Pittsburgh and appeared in productions of Oklahoma! & Man Of LaMancha, and can be seen in the film Love The Coopers. Autism awareness rocks!

Erin Friday is thrilled to join the cast of Grease and to serve on Americana Theatre Company’s production team as the Director of Education. In 2002, Erin acquired a degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Fine and Theatre Arts from Stonehill College. She has performed with companies such as The Round Barn Theatre, The Comtra Theatre, McKeesport Little Theatre, Gemini Children’s Theater and others. Erin has been a board member of ATC since 2011. Erin has directed many productions including Carver High School’s production of Peter Pan in 1997, Stonehill College’s cabaret of Rent in 2001, and many performances for the children’s musical theatre ministry at Church of the Vine in Carver, including the production of Bethlehem in 2010. Erin’s favorite roles include Mary in Americana Theatre Company’s production of It’s A Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play, Baker’s Wife from Into the Woods, Urleen in Footloose, Gertrude/Bird Girl in Seussical, The Queen of Hearts form Alice in Wonderland, and can’t wait to add more roles to list!

This is her sixth season as an Americana company member, and she is proud to call Plymouth her summer home. Derek Martin originally hails from Carver, Massachusetts and has been making a living acting, choreographing and directing professionally around the country for the last 15 years. He has performed with notable companies such as Connecticut Repertory Theatre, The York Theatre Company, Musical Theatre of Connecticut, Virginia Musical Theatre, Virginia Stage, The Palace Theatre in Manchester NH, The Broward Stage Door Theatre, The Round Barn Theatre and many others. ATC Credits include Victor Fleming (Moonlight and Magnolias), Clown 2 (The 39 Steps), Elyot Chase (Private Lives), and Director for ATC’s inaugural production of And Sarah Laughed. Derek is the department head for William Jessup University’s B.A. in Creative Arts – Theatre program in Rocklin, CA and is passionate about telling transformative stories and empowering the next generation of artists. In Los Angeles: the world premiere and LA Weekly award winner Gulf View Drive, LA Weekly award winner Wit, King Lear, Angel Street, Translations, the critically acclaimed and multi-award nominated As It Is In Heaven, It’s A Wonder Life: A Live Radio Play, The Crucible, Hamlet, and Molly Sweeney. A Christmas Carol at New Stage Theatre and at Americana Theatre Company An Inspector Calls and Moonlight and Magnolias. Marianne is a professor at Regent University where she directed Dancing at Lughnasa, Our Town, and Beau Jest. Marianne is an associate artist at Taproot Theatre Company in Seattle, the former Producing Director of Actors Co-op in Hollywood and served on the advisory board of Provision Theater Company in Chicago.

(EMC/SAG Eligible) Originally from the UK, James’s infatuation with performing and music lead him to New York. Receiving a BFA in Performing Arts from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD); James has dutifully served both on and off stage as an actor and composer for mainstage productions. James has just come off a New England tour of Alice in Wonderland everyone except Alice- even the Red Queen- and is happy to focus on just one: the one-and-only Danny Zuko (no pressure). Alexa is so excited to be joining the cast of Grease for her very first show with Americana Theatre Company! She is a rising junior at Marymount Manhattan College where she studies and Acting with a minor in Musical Theatre. Before college, Alexa attended high school at Walnut Hill School for the Arts in Natick, MA where she majored in Theatre. Alexa has most recently been seen in Marymount’s production of A Midsummer Night’s Dream as Moth, and before that in the Uncommon Theatre Company’s productions of Carrie as Ms. Gardner and American Idiot as Whastername. She has also worked as a drama camp counselor at the Ogunquit Playhouse for the past 4 summers, creating theatre with kids as young as five years old as well as being a company member in their productions of The Music Man, Beauty & the Best, and Pinocchio. Other favorite credits include Woman 2 in Songs for a New World, Velma Kelly in Chicago, Ariel in Coastal Disturbances, and many more. She is so glad to be adding her dream role of Rizzo to this list! This one and all the rest are for her #1 Fan.

Conor is very grateful to be making his professional theatre debut in Americana Theatre Company's production of Grease, and to be returning to Massachusetts, where he was born and raised! Conor was adamantly involved in theatre and music in high school, and has held a passion for performing ever since he can remember. In high school, Conor was involved in productions of West Side Story, Happy Days, and Les Miserables with Raynwater Players, and Grease with Star Players. At 18, he moved to New York City to study musical theatre at the American Musical and Dramatic Academy and pursue his professional goals.

Simon Kiser, a rising senior at Emerson College, is thrilled to be back for his second year with Americana! In addition to his stage work, he will also be appearing in the upcoming films Zephyr, The Gathering Storm, and at the Cannes Film Festival, Racing the Sunrise. Regional credits include: Noises Off (Lloyd,) OSCAR @ The Crown (John Gray), The Velveteen Rabbit (The Rocking Horse), Tuck Everlasting (Jesse), and The Three Musketeers (King Louis XIII). School credits include: The Miraculous Journey of Edward Tulane (Edward Tulane,) Romeo and Juliet (Romeo), The Tempest (Antonio), Dancing at Lughanasa (Gerry Evans), and Seussical (Jojo). Andres A. Garcia is an assistant stage manager for Americana’s upcoming show, Grease. Andres is currently a junior at William Jessup University. He is a Creative Arts Major with a focus in theatre. As a performer from a young age Kevin found a love and true passion for the stage. He has been in musicals consistently since the age of five, playing roles such as Little Jake in Annie Get Your Gun, Arvide Abernathy in Guys & Dolls, Bob Wallace in White Christmas, and Officer Lockstock in Urinetown. Kevin is very excited to spend the summer working with Americana and getting professional experience. This summer he is looking forward to building his resume and learning all he can.

Suzy Johnson, a proud magna cum laude graduate of Regent University’s Theatre in Virginia Beach, is ecstatic to be working with such an inspired and inspiring group of artists. Credits: The Importance of Being Earnest, (Cecily Cardew); Tartuffe (Cleante/Damis); Twelfth Night (Feste/Antonia); A Midsummer Night’s Dream (Fairy/Peaseblossom); Big River (Jo Harper); The Actor’s Nightmare (Sarah Siddons); The Drowsy Chaperone (Dance Captain); and Gypsy (Hollywood Blonde), among others.
